Please read the letter at this link and think about it. Why would water operators want to provide anything other than the purest water possible to their users? Why is our government intent on forcing fluoride on the people? As the writer of this letter implies, it does not matter if you are Democrat, Republican, Independent, or otherwise; this is just plain wrong. Quote from his letter:
“Every vote counts, or does it? I don’t care where you are on the political spectrum, people who have legally voted that they don’t want fluoride are being forced to take it. The legislative session before this tried this legislation and enough people protested so that it never got out of committee, but this time it was railroaded through in seven days, basically in secrecy, without citizens opposed to fluoride even notified that anything was going on.
“If you’re a right wing conservative and against the ‘Nanny State,’ then I thought you believed that government should get out of way. If you’re a left wing tree hugger, then I thought you wouldn’t want your water altered with chemical waste. If you’re a libertarian, then it’s a no brainer.
“Why isn’t the judicial third of government standing up for the common man and woman instead of letting congressional people who don’t even live in the affected areas nullify legally conducted constitutional elections?
“All congressional seats are up for election this year and anyone who votes to take your liberties or freedoms away should be replaced, whether you believe in fluoride or not. It doesn’t matter whether they’re Democrat or Republican, if they nullify your personal freedom and liberty on this issue, what makes you think that they won’t do the same about an issue that you care about?” We say AMEN!
And another quote:
“In this day and age I would think that it would be easy to see if adding fluoride to water is advantageous. Just take two equally large cities with similar environmental habitats, one that has been fluoridating for at least 25 years and one that has never been fluoridated. Then look at the statistics of the people who have lived in those cities at least 25 years and the children who
were born there and still residing there.”
Should we not be requesting that our legislators ask for proof that adding fluoride to a water supply is beneficial, not proof from some questionable statistics from the 1930’s and 40’s. We would want proof from a verifiable study conducted in current times, times when
the vast majority of people have indoor plumbing and fluoride added to almost all toothpaste. Makes you wonder why studies like this haven’t been done for 70-80 years? Or is the real and verifiable benefit to the chemical companies that can now sell their toxic waste instead of paying to dispose of it?
We must demand answers and question everything!
