Once more, the state of Arkansas bucks the trend and falls behind the rest of the country and world. Over the last year, the following communities (with approximate populations) have stopped adding fluoride to their drinking water. That’s approximately 2,538,500 people freed from the toxic substance known as fluoride, in the past year!

Now that Arkansas cities and water districts are facing a statewide mandate, we have several situations that we should be concerned about.
The cost of implementing mass medication of our state’s water supply was misrepresented to the people and the legislators in order to get house bill passed. Sen. Johnson, when asked what the startup costs would be for Fort Smith, stated to legislators that it would be between $90,000 and $100,000 dollars. ( Click here for “Fluoride Bill Clears House Panel.”)
They were also told that Delta Dental would have $500,000 available for these start up costs. ( Click here for “Board to Decide on Fluoridation.”)
The real cost is now coming to light. The remaining balance will have to be funded by the water rate payers. Talk about unfunded mandates!
The financial cost is secondary to the concern we should have with the actual substance used to fluoridate 90% of our nation’s water supply. (Click here for “The Drug That’s Untested for Safety….“)
Follow this link to the most recent MSDS (material safety data sheet) for hydrofluosilicic acid, commonly known for its use in people treatment (aka water fluoridation. We are told that it is safe and effective, but this MSDS is what the manufacturers say about their own product. Sound safe to you? Please note at the end of the last page they assume NO responsibly for what they are selling. So who is responsible? Also, note the toxicological studies that have NOT been done on hydrofluosilicic acid. The actual fluoride products used in artificial water fluoridation (silicofluorides Na2SiF6, H2SiF6) have neither the required animal studies (toxicology studies) nor the required human studies (randomized controlled clinical trials) to determine safety. Toxicology studies for fluoridation products are required for compliance with the private consortium National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standard called NSF Standard 60. Therefore, states which legally require NSF Standard 60 compliance are NOT in compliance with the law.
Rep.Loy Mauch’s bill, HB1205, will ensure the product purchased follows the law.
When an Arkansas water district tried to get the information from the suppliers that is required by NSF, this is what happened. (Click here).
If the chemical that is produced in the US is contaminated, can you imagine what is coming in from other countries like China? It’s hard to believe that a third of all the hydrofluosilicic acid that is used in America’s water comes from China. See for yourself some of the problems with fluoride from China at this link . As of Nov.12, 2011, Amesbury citizens have voted to permanently stop fluoridating their water. (Click here.)
The Chinese don’t consider this product safe to use in their own country, but they are more than willing to export it to gullible Americans to consume in this beverage everyday. They are dumping their toxic waste on us and getting paid for it! (Click here.)
Why would we allow our children to drink this? Amazingly, there are at least 24 studies from four countries showing how fluoride squashes IQ in children. ( Click here.)
Another cost factor to be considered are the coming lawsuits. Here are the recent filings. (Click here.)(Click here.) and (Click here.)
It is believed that this is the beginning of the fluoridegate scandals. (Click here.)
