The Senate State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee has SJR1 on the Agenda for Monday. We must be at the Capitol on Monday morning, around 10 a.m., ready to stop this disastrous bill. (The fiscal session officially opened February 13 and should close March 9th, unless extended.)

We must get busy call all these senators tonight and tomorrow and ask them not to vote for this Constitutional Convention. Senator Jason Rapert would not run this bill unless he has five votes and we think the fifth vote could be Senator David Johnson. Why? Because Senator Rapert testified on behalf Senator Johnson to get the fluoride mandate bill passed. Senators Gilbert Baker, Kim Hendren, Bill Pritchard, and Johnny Key have sponsored the bill and Senator David Johnson could possibly be the fifth vote.
