REMINDER – Please Attend Special Blueway Legislative Meeting – 6/26/13 @ 1:30pm at the AR State Capitol (MAC Bldg, Rm A)
A special meeting has been called at the Capitol regarding the White River Watershed National Blueway designation.
It will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in Room A of the big MAC building behind the Capitol here in Little Rock, Arkansas. It’s a joint meeting of the Senate and House Committees on City, County, and Local Affairs.
This is a VERY important meeting, and it’s very important that you attend and show your opposition to the Blueway!
It’s also important that you click here to see the updated agenda, the committee members’ names, and the speakers’ names. Many of the speakers in attendance will be supporting the Blueway.
We have sent many, MANY emails out regarding the Blueway designation and the reason it’s bad for Arkansas: bad for private property owners, bad for business, and bad for our state… period. We MUST fight this. Wednesday is another chance for to show our opposition to the Blueway. WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. If we don’t do something now, private property will be negatively impacted by the White River Watershed National Blueway in Arkansas and Missouri!
The committee members’ names and contact information is shown below. We need your help! Please contact these lawmakers TODAY by phone AND email, and express your opposition to the Blueway. So far, 16 counties in Arkansas have passed resolutions of opposition to the the Blueway. This is great, but there is much more work to be done.
