The Garland County Quorum Court needs some NEW blood!
Early voting has already begun, and the Primary is Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
Always vote in the Primary Election in order to weed out the RINOs (Republican In Name Only)!
The three strong, dependable, and dynamic ladies mentioned below deserve your vote in this year’s primary.
They are here to serve, they have good common sense, and they will vote to protect families and businesses in Garland County.
They know there is still a lot to accomplish there in Garland County and want to dig in and work for YOU.
Each of these worthy candidates are concerned about the times we are living in and how the government has gotten out of control.
They plan to help hold the line locally and vote for no new taxes.
They do not want Garland County to become a sanctuary for illegal aliens (foreign people who live in a country without having official permission to live there). The illegal activity in our country has brought in gangs, violence, drugs, and human trafficking.
They want to keep open records and open meetings for elected officials unimpaired so there can be proper transparency in government. They believe the public should always have the right to know. With that said, they support the FOIA petitions currently being circulated that will keep the Freedom of Information Act firmly in place here in Arkansas.
Also, they favor election reform! They want to implement hand-marked and hand-counted paper ballots for their county, too!
Garland County voters, what more could you ask for from these electable candidates? See their statements below.

Secure Arkansas endorses Betty Westmoreland for Garland County Justice of the Peace – District 11
Betty’s statement:
I have personally witnessed the suppression of information, the twisting of facts, the silencing of the voices of “we the people”, the violation of by-laws, the protection of those in power no matter the cost, the lack of transparency, and the embracing of false and emotionally based accusations rather than the truth regarding critical issues of our day.
What were some of the issues? Election Integrity (at our county and state levels and in my own community of Hot Springs Village) and the lack of protection of our children from pornographic materials in our county library and the Sanctity of Life (at our own Garland County Quorum Court level).
Where did these actions take place? As shocking at it may be — within various organizations of the Republican Party in Garland County, the state of Arkansas, and in my own community of Hot Springs Village!
These actions are not an accurate representation of the Republican Party principles and values.
They must be stopped.
As a strong Christian, a deeply concerned American Patriot, and a true conservative Republican, I decided to run for Garland County District 11 Justice of the Peace to make a difference. When elected to the Quorum Court, I will represent “we the people” with dignity and honor. I’ll stand firmly for Christian values and will never waiver from the conservative principles stated in the Republican Party platform.

Secure Arkansas endorses Abigail Rector for Garland County Justice of the Peace – District 12
Abby’s statement:
My name is Abby Rector, and I am running for Justice of the Peace, Quorum Court in Garland County.
I am a Christian conservative, a Navy veteran, and a MAGA Republican. I am also a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. With my husband of 34 years, I raised three children who are now hard-working and successful adults. I also enjoy life in the role of grandmother to two sweet little boys.
The reason I decided to run for this office is because I realized that WE THE PEOPLE of my district were not being really represented honestly. We are a majority of conservatives with Christian values and we have a Republican JP who is supposed to vote according to the Republican Party platform. The platform states that we believe in “the sanctity of life”. However, when a resolution was proposed to declare our county pro-life, my JP, along with five other Republicans would not take a stand to support it. Ultimately, this resolution was tabled indefinitely because the majority of the Quorum Court Republicans voted with the three liberal JPs.
Additionally, I realized that a majority of our elected officials give no resistance to get settled into the status quo. When I realized that there were questions regarding our elections in Arkansas, as well as the whole country, I wanted to learn more.
Yet, in 2023, I witnessed quite the level of opposition. My own state legislators set out to squash a simple event that was intended to inform the people about both sides of the debate between voting machines and hand-marked paper ballots. As a District Director in the Arkansas Federation of Republican Women, I actually got caught in the “line of fire” resulting from the controversy. As an involved and engaged citizen, I ended up being ostracized and reprimanded for expecting transparency and accountability from people in leadership.
Benjamin Franklin said. “You have a Constitutional Republic, if you can keep it.”
I want to keep it, and that is why I decided to practically dive into the “political waters” of my local government to try and rescue and give back THE VOICE TO THE PEOPLE!

Secure Arkansas endorses Laura Ramoly for Garland County Justice of the Peace – District 13
Laura’s statement:
I am running because our quorum court is too liberal. They’re voting like liberals and won’t speak up when the judge proposes bigger government or something that’s detrimental to our county. And if someone does speak up, he threatens they’re out of order, and his attorney puts a gag order on them. There is no transparency. The judge has made it clear he doesn’t want public comments and tries to shut them down through coordinating inappropriate motions and overruling the people’s voices.
It’s time for a change with constitutional Republicans and not RINOs who vote with liberals.
I am that change.
