A big THANK YOU to Senator Bryan King & Rep. Josh Miller for sponsoring this desperately needed legislation!
Recently at the Capitol, SR16 and SR11 were voted on and adopted in the Senate to amend the deceptive Arkansas Data Centers Act of 2023… and more. King had several other resolutions, too, that didn’t get adopted.
However, the first crypto vote in the House was on HR1014, and it failed to be adopted in the House, along with a string of others on 4/17/2024.
What’s up with the House???
.
Please watch the video of SR16 (found here also) and Senator King speaking, trying to untie the hands for Arkansas local government to be able to act when needed.
The resolution passed. Also, in the video, Senator King wanted to expunge the vote on SR11. We are glad he did because thankfully, it passed, too, this second time around! Here is the final video for SR11. See the Senate votes below.

This article easily explains what happened with the crypto vote:
Six of eight crypto mining resolutions fall short in Arkansas House

.
Do you think Rep. David Ray betrayed the people of Arkansas? He spoke AGAINST several resolutions that would have helped solve many problems dealing with Communist Chinese Bitcoin facilities!
Here are the other 5 resolutions proposed by Rep. Josh Miller that regrettably failed. These were wonderful pieces of legislation! Senator Bryan King sponsored identical resolutions in the Senate.
HR1015 — TO AUTHORIZE THE INTRODUCTION OF A NONAPPROPRIATION BILL TO AMEND THE ARKANSAS DATA CENTERS ACT OF 2023 AND TO AMEND THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A DIGITAL ASSET MINING BUSINESS OR BUSINESS USING A BLOCKCHAIN NETWORK.
HR1016 — TO AUTHORIZE THE INTRODUCTION OF A NONAPPROPRIATION BILL TO REQUIRE A DIGITAL ASSET MINING BUSINESS TO PROVIDE NOTIFICATION BEFORE PURCHASING LAND OR A BUILDING OR BEGINNING CONSTRUCTION OF A DIGITAL ASSET MINING FACILITY.
HR1017 — TO AUTHORIZE THE INTRODUCTION OF A NONAPPROPRIATION BILL TO AMEND THE ARKANSAS DATA CENTERS ACT OF 2023; AND TO REGULATE THE IMPACT ON WATER USAGE AND THE ELECTRIC GRID BY BLOCKCHAIN NETWORKS AND DIGITAL ASSET MINING.
HR1018 — TO AUTHORIZE THE INTRODUCTION OF A NONAPPROPRIATION BILL TO AMEND THE ARKANSAS DATA CENTERS ACT OF 2023; AND TO AMEND THE UNIFORM MONEY SERVICES ACT.
HR1019 — TO AUTHORIZE THE INTRODUCTION OF A NONAPPROPRIATION BILL TO REQUIRE A DIGITAL ASSET MINING BUSINESS TO PAY A FEE FOR EXTRAORDINARY ELECTRICAL ENERGY USAGE.
Now back to the Senate…
Check out this must read article from Arkansas Advocate written April 24, 2024.
Senator Joshua Bryant tried to (tongue-in-cheek) “correct” or “amend” his own deceptive legislation from the 2023 session, but most of the legislators knew it wasn’t strong enough. Bryant’s proposed bills that failed this fiscal session are: SB78, SB79, and SR5.
Again, Senator Bryant was still trying to control the terrible problems surrounding Act 851.
A snippet:
Sens. King and Flowers, whose districts have seen the arrival of crypto mines or plans to start them, expressed concerns that the proposals aren’t strong enough
Consequently, there were 8 crypto mining bills, and 6 fell short in the House of Representatives. Only Senator Bryan King’s resolutions made it through to be adopted.
The damaging and misleading law/ Act 851 was sponsored by State Senator Joshua Bryant of Rogers and signed into law by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders in the 2023 legislative session. This law actually tried to tie the hands of our local government to be able to take action on the noise and other irregularities done by the communist Chinese! It didn’t have a thing to do with Data Centers! This dangerous and nasty bill was quickly introduced and passed at lightening speed in the last few days and hours of Arkansas’ 2023 legislative session.
We must put America and Arkansas first. Any legislator supporting the communists getting a foot hold in Arkansas and America should be labeled a Communist Sympathizer and replaced at the next election.
Legislators, ask yourselves if you are one of those Communist Sympathizers…
The communist sympathizers/globalists need to be rooted out of every state legislature! Our national sovereignty is at stake.
And remember, this vile, underhanded law limited our local governments’ ability to regulate crypto mines! Senator Bryant, your constituents are watching, and hopefully you won’t be in office very long after this stunt. You thought you would get away with a fast one pulled on the public when you sponsored this malevolent bill!
Think about how many Communist Chinese crypto facilities could get away with NOT being properly regulated, all while hooking up to electrical substations and polluting the surrounding area, let alone driving down property values around them. The Communist Chinese have abused noise levels, electricity, and water amounts in many counties, and it has happened in other states, too. And, if you recall, Biden wants to RATION electricity!
High-voltage transmission lines provide electricity to data centers in Loudon County, Va., home to the world’s largest concentration of data centers. Lawmakers in Virginia and other states are rethinking how incentive programs for data centers may impact the electric grid, clean energy goals and utility rates for other consumers. Ted Shaffrey/The Associated Press
Also, see this revealing article, States rethink data centers as ‘electricity hogs’ strain the grid. Worries are rising over what data centers mean for demand, renewable energy goals.
Here’s a short snippet:
Needleman, co-chair of the Senate Energy and Technology Committee, is now reconsidering details of the state incentive program as he works on legislation to study the impact of data centers on the state’s electric grid. Mistakes now, he said, could lead to “a real crisis.”
The fallout of Act 851 and Act 819 caused at least 50 or more Arkansas counties to pass ordinances to restrict the sound level emitted by these abusive and shady bitcoin mines.
Also, because of Act 851 being brought forth and enacted, many lawsuits are in the works.
This aired on CBS Sunday Morning on April 15, 2023:
The fallout from Arkansas’ “right to mine” bitcoin law
All Communist Chinese companies ARE a national security threat.
So, yes, Secure Arkansas has been extremely concerned about the Communist Chinese nationals that have been loosed to purchase land here in Arkansas for their Bitcoin mining facilities and in other states, too. There are other Communist Chinese businesses that should be looked into quickly, also.
Yes, the Chinese communists have been allowed by Entergy to hook up their bitcoin mining facilities to our electrical grid. We can expect rolling blackouts should they be left to continue. We have already written about the electrical drain and what happened in Texas.
Communist China is our known enemy, and Arkansans do NOT want to deal with the Communist Chinese Party (CCP) which can never, ever be trusted!
Our borders are still NOT secure, and the American people continually face great danger, yet we stand and watch as hostile enemy nations send their militant operatives across our unsecured borders. Now we have communist Chinese Bitcoin facilities to deal with in this state, thanks to the scheming HB1799/ Act 851 and the fraudulent HB1654/ Act 819…
And yes, Homeland Security aides in this orchestrated communist chaos, yet Alejandro Mayorkas, Secretary of Homeland Security, is still left in office! As he manipulates the numbers, he oversees the protection of criminals, cartels, and gang members, allowing them to roam freely through our American landscape and through our innocent communities without being apprehended.
Mayorkas is a traitor and a direct enemy to our country! What about his impeachment? Here’s the latest update:
He was impeached by the House, but Senate Democrats rejected the articles of impeachment!
So, the criminals remain unhindered in power to abuse the good people in this country…
See this short video from CBS: Senate rejects impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas
The insane, destructive, and communist tactics that have been used against America from the globalist Biden Administration and his appointees continues…
In closing, don’t forget to sign both FOIA petitions just waiting to be picked up at most local newspaper offices! Also, please help circulate the FOIA petitions.
