We just thought you might want to see that lawmakers in other communities, states, and countries are questioning fluoridation, as we are in Arkansas.
Many Communities, Cities, Provinces, and COUNTRIES have rejected fluoridation since 1990:

Looking at the communities that have rejected fluoridation is an eye opener and will make your head spin! Why was Arkansas mandated in the first place?

Congratulations, Israel! That’s great news! 🙂 You’ll now have a healthier population.
Portland, Oregon voted NO on water fluoridation.
States’ action on fluoridation:
Utah has House Bill 72, the Safe Drinking Water Disclosure Act which requires certain disclosures related to fluoridation of water supplies. It also requires that fluoridation be temporarily discontinued under certain circumstances and requires Utah Division of Drinking Water oversight of fluoridation record keeping. (This is similar to what we’re trying to accomplish with water additive accountability legislation in Arkansas. See Arkansas’ SB255 as an example from our 2013 Arkansas session.)
Utah’s Governor Herbert Signs H.B. 72 (info found here; scroll down)
“Utah Governor Gary Herbert signed a bill last week that requires chemical companies to fully disclose all the chemicals and contaminants they are dumping into Utah’s water along with the toxic fluoride which has been represented for more than 60 years across the U.S. as a means of preventing dental caries. The bill – H.B. 72 – is not designed to permanently stop water fluoridation or make a statement about whether fluoride’s rewards (its alleged property of preventing dental caries) outweighs its risks for causing various types of cancer, osteoporosis, MS and a host of other diseases. The bill is simply designed to force companies such as Thatcher and Mosaic Chemical to disclose exactly what is contained in the entire witches-brew batch of fluoridation chemicals being dumped in Utah’s drinking water.”
The new bill also requires any company “fluoridating” Utah’s water to disclose precisely what chemicals are in the fluoridation batches.
Senator Bye of Connecticut has proposed a bill to eliminate the mandate to put fluoride into their public water supplies. Read the bill here.
Tennessee has two bills, one from the House and one from the Senate. “As introduced, requires water treatment plant operators to take periodic readings of fluoride content in treated water and to report the results of the readings to the department of environment and conservation; restricts the addition of fluoride to treated water containing certain existing levels of fluoride.”-Amends TCA Title 53, Chapter 1, Part 1 and Title 68, Chapter 221, Part 7.

AN ACT concerning certain municipalities; relating to disclosures regarding fluoride in water supplies. (This bill died in Committee, but it is good information)
New Hampshire passes first state-wide fluoride warning law HB1416
http://www.gencourt.state.nh.
(Part of HB1416) If a public water supply is fluoridated, the following notice shall be posted in the water system’s consumer confidence report: “Your public water supply is fluoridated. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, if your child under the age of 6 months is exclusively consuming infant formula reconstituted with fluoridated water, there may be an increased chance of dental fluorosis. Consult your child’s healthcare provider for more information.”
