HB1355 (An Act To Provide Local Control Over Fluoride Levels In Water Systems) passed on the House floor today, 2/19/2015 at 2:16:59 p.m.  The vote was 60 YEAS, 34 NAYS and 6 Non-Voting.  The bill has now been sent to the Senate.

Please start calling the Senate Public Health, Welfare, and Labor Committee members and ask them to support HB1355 and to vote YEA when the bill comes up.  There are only 8 people to call, and their contact information shown is below.  We will need 5 votes to get it out of committee and sent to the senate floor.

Secure Arkansas wants to sincerely thank Representative Jack Ladyman and all of the co-sponsors of HB1355.  Also a special thanks to all of the Representatives who voted Yea on the bill.  Senators, it is in your ballpark now. Let’s not disappoint the people.  We must get back to Local Control.

Remember: this bill simply allows the addition of fluoride into our public drinking water systems to be controlled LOCALLY.

The Senators and Representatives who voted Nay instead of YEA on HB1355 are telling you that they know what is best for you and are making decisions about your health, whether you agree with them or not!

Mr. Speaker

NOTE: The NAYs and Non Voting legislators highlighted in yellow (above) received campaign contributions from the dental lobbyists.  Could these campaign donations be influencing the vote?

A Non Voting position is same as a Nay vote.  Also, please note that Nays and Non Votings are votes against Local Control which boils down to legislators supporting socialism!

Here is the list of committee members that you need to start calling immediately!

Ask them to support HB1355 and to vote YEA when the bill comes up.
