Emergency Appeal for Funds
February is National Dental Awareness month and the Arkansas Health Department is running radio ads promoting fluoride in drinking water. Instead of talking about oral hygiene, it’s all about water fluoridation, which we find strange due to the fact that Arkansas already has a dangerous state mandate in place.
Secure Arkansas intends to run radio spots to counter these ads. We need to release information pertaining to the CDC and rebut false information being fed to the public. We can show our strength by countering their propaganda.
The truth about fluoride needs to be disseminated to the scientific world, as well as to the public. A serious conflict of interest exists when a public agency is charged with objectively evaluating the safety of a procedure while at the same time endorsing and recommending it. This is exactly the position of the Arkansas Health Department.
