Are You Calling Your JP?
We have been emailing you information about the White River Watershed National Blueway designation and how we all need to fight it locally.
One county has rewritten their Resolution of Opposition against the Blueway designation – to make it a little more simplified. This can help you in your county. Click here to view the new, re-worded Resolution of Opposition . Write your county’s name on the lines provided. This resolution needs to be presented for passage to the county judge or JP in EACH county in Arkansas.
We’ve made it easy to find your county officers. Click here to view a map of Arkansas counties. Once it’s open in your browser, you may click on your county to see name and contact information for each county judge and other county officers. It will show the name of the JP (Justice of the Peace), but not necessarily their contact information. You may need to use your local directory to look up their phone number, if that’s not asking too much.
Everyone should be contacting their JP’s in their county about this Resolution.
When you contact your JPs, it’s important to send a letter or email and be sure to follow-up with a phone call. To kick up a stink, this must be done NOW. You can either contact your JP now, or we’ll all suffer the consequences.
The July 6 deadline for public input is FAST approaching. We need your help to back the Feds off and to save our property rights from this Blueway designation in Arkansas and Missouri!
