House Subcommittee On Water and Power Hearing
West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis St. West Plains, Missouri
Monday, July 29, 2013 1:00 p.m. CDT
Agenda:
“Stopping Federal Land and Water Grabs: Protecting Property Rights from Washington, DC Edicts”
The Congressional subcommittee met in West Pains, Missouri on July 29 to hear testimony on the White River Watershed National Blueway. Hill ‘N Holler news reporter Caroll Lucas was one of many News Services at the hearing. Hill ‘N Holler did the best job in reporting what really went on at the hearing of any news services so far. I first met Caroll in Missouri when we were fighting the Ozark Highland Man and the Biosphere (MAB) 17 years ago in 1996. This reporter is one of the few reporters that I have ever met that knows how to get the truth out. Make sure that you click on all the live links in the article below to get the whole story of what went on at the hearing.
Secure Arkansas, along with several other groups throughout Arkansas and Missouri, was at the July 29 hearing in West Plains, MO. The hearing was held at the Civic Center in West Plains. The Civic Center holds 450 people, and there was standing room only. The testimony presented at the hearing was all against the White River Watershed National Blueway. The testimony presented was “We do not want the White River Watershed National Blueway put on hold. We want this project KILLED permanently”.
Many of our state and county officials want to work with the federal and state agencies in order to get federal and state grants. With the grants, there are all kinds of strings attached. Make sure you know what is involved when your county accepts a grant. Most, if not all, conservation and environmental grants are used to implement UN Agenda 21 programs. All of these programs must be blocked completely.
