Ark. Legislators MUST hold State & Local Agencies Accountable

August 14, 2013 Agenda 21

Print This Article

Arkansas state and local government agencies have NO accountability to the people of Arkansas.  It’s up to the Arkansas legislators to keep the agencies in line and cut their appropriations.

All state and local government agencies must pull their support for all “Sustainable Development” (United Nations Agenda 21) projects or lose all their Arkansas legislative appropriation funding.  These government agencies are wasting large amounts of money and resources as well as going against the will of the people.  There is no accountability regarding spending or the direction these government agencies are going.  It appears that the agencies are getting whatever amount of money they request in the appropriation bills.  In many of the appropriation bills, there are funds for land acquisition.  Why are the taxpayers of Arkansas providing tax money to acquire private property?  This is insane.  HB2015 would have helped with agency oversight, but the bill died in the House Committee on State Agencies and Governmental Affairs, 89th General Assembly, Regular Session 2013.

If the state and local government agencies will not pull their support of Sustainable Development (U.N. Agenda 21), it’s up to the Arkansas legislators to cut off all funding immediately.  Also, there should be NO appropriation funds made available for private property land acquisition.

In the case of the White River Watershed National Blueway, there was NO input requested from the land owners, local government, county government, or state government prior to the attempted federal land grab via the White River Watershed National Blueway.  The state and local government agencies that went against the will of the people and signed the White River Watershed Nation Blueway nomination were: the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Arkansas Forestry Commission, Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission, Arkansas Waterway Association, City of  Augusta, AR and the City of Clarendon, AR.  There must be some oversight from our Arkansas legislators to control these government agencies that have gone against the will of the people. Again, HB2015 would have  helped with agency oversight, but the bill died in the House Committee on State Agencies and Governmental Affairs, 89th General Assembly, Regular Session, 2013.

Arkansas legislators have the ability to cut or eliminate the money in the appropriation bills to the various state and local agencies to get their attention.

Some of the waste can be seen first hand by reviewing the amount of money in the  appropriation bills below.

Arkansas Planning and Development Districts

Arkansas is divided into 8 Planning and Development Districts. Each planning district covers six to twelve Arkansas counties which are bound together by common economic problems and opportunities. The planning districts provide many services including grant writing and administration for economic development projects in Arkansas. All 8 Planning and Development Districts are incorporated with the Arkansas Secretary of State as Not-For-Profit.

Contact information for the 8 Planning and Development Districts:

  • East Arkansas Planning and Development District
  • Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District

All the information below is for review and to show  that it is mostly the bureaucrats that are controlling your life.  The legislators can control the bureaucrats by cutting off their funding.

Arkansas’s Five-Year Delta Development Plan is implementing Sustainable Development which is a United Nations Agenda 21 plan. It is up to the Arkansas Legislators to remove this U.N. Agenda 21 Sustainable Development policy from this Arkansas’ Five-Year Delta Development plan.
