The title of HB 1292 has been changed to “An Act to Set the Requirements to Receive State Benefits.”
It’s working! Keep pouring on the pressure! The legislators say they can’t believe how many emails and phone calls they are getting about HB1292. They vote tomorrow so this is our last chance to make a difference. The switchboard is jammed and we want to keep it that way.
They are saying that they won’t deliver the message unless you are from their district. Please call anyway. The House switchboard number is 501-682-6211. If they refuse to take your call, insist that they must.
Leave a message for at least two of the committee members listed below. Ask them to please vote for HB1292 sponsored by Rep. Jon Hubbard, The Illegal Alien Bill, tomorrow, February 23, 2011. Ask for a response! Tell them that a Rasmussen poll just reported that 67 percent of the people are in favor of states enforcing immigration laws. (click here). Please recruit your friends, neighbors and family to call and email.
