Con-Con Alert in Arizona!

The following is an appeal from an Arizona patriot to help in contacting their legislators to vote “No” on a Constitutional Convention (Con-Con).

SCR1005 has passed the Senate 16 to 14 and is ready to be voted on in the House Appropriations Committee.

SCR1005 will call for a Constitutional Convention, or an “Amendments Convention” to consider whether an increase in the federal debt should require approval from a majority of the legislatures of the states.

Con-Con Alert in Missouri!

The following is an appeal from a patriot in Missouri to help in contacting their legislators to vote “No” on a Constitutional Convention (Con-Con).

SCR27: This concurrent resolution calls for a constitutional convention to propose an amendment to the United States Constitution that requires a balanced federal budget, except in times of war, and prohibits increases in taxes, unless approved by two-thirds of the state legislatures.

Convention to propose an amendment to the Constitution of the United States requiring approval of a majority of state legislatures
to increase the federal debt limit.

Con-Con Bill Pulled

We thank Senator Rapert for pulling SJR1 from the State Agencies Committee today. If you happen to be at the Capitol tomorrow, Jeannie plans to be there, just in case anyone shows up, to receive them. It does appear that the bill will not be up in committee tomorrow.
