The Endangered Species Act (ESA) regulations for the Ozark Hellbender salamander will become effective November 7, 2011. Areas are not currently being declared as endangered habitats, but the stated reason for doing so is that people go into the habitat areas and try to kill out the species.

Secure Arkansas Special Report: Debt Election

On November the 8th, Arkansans will be asked to go to the polls and give the Arkansas Highway Commission permission to add $575 million of additional debt unto our backs. While they have dropped many hints about what they “could” spend the money on, the bottom line is that the Highway Commission wants us to approve more debt without much if anything in the way of specific commitment as to what the money will be used for. We Oppose Sustainable Communities

A Department of Transportation Bill is helping to defund Sustainable Development by eliminating funding for what are called TIGER grants , which provide funding for the largest grants through the Partnership for Sustainable Communities program.
