SB115 Regulation of Firearms to be in Committee on February 18

Tomorrow, February 18, Senate Bill 115 is scheduled to be heard by the House Committee on City, County and Local Affairs. SB 115 has already passed in the state Senate and was sent to the House for consideration. SB 115 would protect our Second Amendment rights by prohibiting any government agency from confiscating or regulating the lawful possession, transfer, transport and carry of firearms during a state of emergency, such as occurred in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
