U.S. Constitution on the verge of Extinction due to radical groups’ involvement with Article V Con-Con U.S. Constitution & Bill of Rights
Secure Arkansas Opposes the Convention of States (COS) Movement!
Our support of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights must stand firm!
Our Constitution MUST NOT be revised, or it fundamentally changes our country and undermines our values!
— Save the Constitution by Rescinding all Article V Convention Applications —
States that have already passed the Article V resolution MUST rescind all calls for an Article V Convention! Click here for an example of a resolution to RESCIND all calls for an Article V Convention. (We’ve also included it in the body of this alert at the end.)
Mark Meckler and his liberal predatory partners have put the U.S. Constitution on shaky ground with the Article V Constitutional Convention (Con-Con) Movement.
*The radical leftist book they don’t want you to see: The Constitution in 2020
Note: Cass Sunstein (Soros’ puppet) helped edit the book. This is a must-read book for all legislators and anyone interested in what the enemy is doing. Meckler can NOT be trusted!
You must check out the facts for yourself. Used books are available from this site for a little over $5.00 and up.
We Have Been Infiltrated by Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing
Diabolical plans at the Capitol for Opening Day of Legislative Session! Wolves (COS) on the prowl with their prey (the Arkansas State Legislature) in sight: The deceptive, exploitative, and cunning Convention of States (COS) Operatives are advertising that they are appearing at our Arkansas Capitol on Monday, January 14, 2019, for the opening of our legislative session. Unfortunately, it looks like they’ll use that as an opportunity to influence our state legislators into calling a convention. Secure Arkansas wants to remind everyone to be wary of these types of gatherings. Any legislator who supports the COS movement is NOT a true conservative but is actually supporting the radical socialist left agenda.
We know that foreign threats have tried to undermine our beloved Constitution since the beginning, and we know that there’s a well-organized effort in the states, including Arkansas, to convince state legislatures to issue calls for a new constitutional convention. This is very dangerous to our rights and protections.
AS ALWAYS, hang in there with us, and click the links in this alert. It’s packed full of information and will take time to study.
Who are the serpents in suits behind this extreme agenda?
Big money is currently being spent to push this Article V Amendment Convention through state legislatures by 2020!
The pressure for the convention is being pushed using propaganda, but this should not surprise any of us. Here’s their newest tactic:
Convention of States adopts Newspeak to sell the Con-Con
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it.”
– Joseph Goebbels
Newspeak
In the novel “1984,” George Orwell’s unsettling prophecy of a totalitarian society, Newspeak was the official language of Oceania.
It was devised to limit freedom of thought. New words were invented, undesirable words eliminated, and the remaining words redefined or limited in scope to further the Party’s ideology. If something can’t be said, it can’t be thought, making a diverging thought unthinkable.
So too, the Convention of States Project (COS) uses Newspeak to manipulate people into believing that the convention provided for by Article V of our Constitution is really a “convention of the states” that is controlled from start to finish by State Legislatures. This is not TRUE!
“Convention of the States” v. “Constitutional Convention”
On September 24-25, 2011, radical leftist professor Larry Lessig, who has ties to George Soros, and salesman Mark Meckler, who now heads COS, co-hosted Conference on the Constitutional Convention at Harvard. That conference kicked off the current push for the Left and the phony Right To Work together to promote an Article V Convention.
Larry Lessig is a Harvard Law Professor who had a theory to get Hillary into the White House by the end of 2017. He is a founder of the Convention of States Project with Mark Meckler, co-founder of a fake 2009 GOP-run ‘teaparty’ known as Tea Party Patriots.
They, along with other left-wing leaders, co-hosted the September 2011 Harvard University event entitled “Conference on the Constitutional Convention”. Yes, in 2011, Meckler had no problem using the term “constitutional convention” for an Article V Convention as he plotted with liberals. Meckler has teamed up with Larry Lessig, a George Soros liberal.
Meckler claims his opponents are Soros-backed while he openly works with Joanne Blades, the founder of the Soros-funded MOVEON.ORG .
Shamelessly, Mark Meckler and his legal operatives at the Convention of States Project turned to Newspeak. They adopted the term, “convention of the states;” defined it as a convention totally controlled by state legislators; and claimed that a “convention of the states” was the same as an “Article V Convention,” and different from a “Constitutional Convention” or a “con-con.”
In Oldspeak, the real world of English grammar and common sense, “constitutional convention” and “Article V convention” are synonymous. Any convention dealing with drafting or amending a constitution is a “constitutional convention.” Also, any convention provided for in a constitution is, by definition, a “constitutional convention.”
Charade exposed! Many grassroots, Tea Party, and Christian groups are being infiltrated with progressive ideas by people presenting themselves as Conservatives, Christians, or Patriots. We must all be truth seekers. Don’t accept any information without checking out both the message AND the person. That includes everything. Just because someone claims to be something, that doesn’t mean they are. Everyone and everything needs to be vetted. Sometimes the truth is hard to swallow, but it is the truth.
Entertainer/Actor Levin: It’s doubtful that Millionaire Virginia Lawyer Mark Levin’s legion of listeners would be as eager to get behind his Article V Con-Con agenda if they knew whom they were fighting beside and how radically their new allies want to change our beloved Constitution. “Conservative”? Really? He wants 11 new amendments to our U.S. Constitution!
Regardless of the soothing words of Levin, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, Meckler, or others in the constitutional convention (Con-Con) camp, they cannot guarantee the outcome of such a convention. In fact, in light of the lists of leftist groups provided below, the results of the convention could be an outright scrapping of the Constitution written by the Founders in favor of one more in line with the progressive ideologies of Wolf-Pac, Code Pink, ALEC, with their central banking crony corporate partners, and others. Are you as legislators going to take that risky chance with our U.S. Constitution?
Don’t be duped! Say NO to a Con-Con
The terrible threats and current goals to rewrite the U.S. Constitution started over 50 years ago as part of the globalist Rockefeller and Ford Foundations’ billion dollar effort to fundamentally change the Constitution and transform our form of government. This New States of America Constitution is listed on page 626 to 652 of a book “The Emerging Constitution” by Rexford G. Tugwell. Click_here for a PDF copy (will download to your computer). The New States of America Constitution is listed from page 626 to page 652 of this document. These U.N.-type goals involving a new constitution are still in place today. Do not embrace this diabolical deception!
There are many front groups on both the political right and the left that want do away with our existing Constitution, as we will reveal in this article. The method of their madness will be an Article V Amendment Convention that will end up as a Constitutional Convention. If this ever happens, once started and convened, you can kiss our current U.S. Constitution good-bye, and America will never be the same. Yes, you can bet change will happen for the worse because the global elite has a new U.S. Constitution waiting for us! Is this what you really want?
Do you want MORE of your personal rights and private property rights further violated, subverted, and REMOVED? We are headed straight into a fascist dictatorship, but our U.S. Constitution keeps getting in the way of U.N. goals. A One World Government and a One World Religion are already in place. Yes, corporate America wants a convention!!… and they want YOU to be dumb enough to support it! The government-corporate complex has taken control of the United States.
While the Article V Amendment Convention movement appears to be a grassroots effort coming from the states, it’s quite the opposite. National groups have been conducting workshops, publishing tips, holding mock conventions, and staying very busy designing model legislation (ALEC) for years to convince legislators to pass legislation calling for a convention.
What does Article V of the U.S. Constitution say?
Article V provides two methods of proposing amendments to our Constitution:
All of our existing 27 amendments were proposed using the first method. Remember, we have never had a constitutional convention! It’s a U.N. global trap, folks!
Click here to read the U.S. Constitution from the National Archives.
An important point also comes from the Necessary and Proper Clause in Article 1 of the UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION regarding how the delegates are chosen:
Article I, §8, clause 17 (last clause) says:
“THE CONGRESS SHALL HAVE POWER“
… “TO MAKE ALL LAWS WHICH SHALL BE NECESSARY AND PROPER FOR CARRYING INTO EXECUTION THE FOREGOING POWERS, AND ALL OTHER POWERS VESTED BY THIS CONSTITUTION IN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES, OR IN ANY DEPARTMENT OR OFFICER THEREOF.”
How Does the Necessary and Proper Clause APPLY to Article V?
Legislators, pay attention! Article V delegates to Congress the power to “call” the convention. The necessary and proper clause (Article I, §8, clause 17) delegates to Congress the power to make all laws necessary and proper to carry out its power to “call” the convention.
All the States can do is call for an Article V Amendment Convention (Con-Con), and after that, Congress takes over, and the states are done! Period! (See Article I, §8, clause 17)
But Rob Natelson — author of the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) handbook written for State Lawmakers and representing corporate America — deceptively insists that the necessary and proper clause does NOT delegate to Congress the power to organize & set up an Article V Convention. But that’s a lie! See Article I, §8, clause 17.
Hello?! Needed info: The April 11, 2014 Report R42589 “The_Article_V_Convention_to_Propose Constitutional Amendments Contemporary Issues for Congress” of the Congressional Research Service (CRS) shows that Congress claims exclusive authority over both methods of amending the Constitution, and that Congress claims the power to organize, set up, and control a convention.
But apparently, some individuals want to usurp that power…
Secure Arkansas will list whom we believe to be the top key actors/players who want to rewrite our Constitution and/or mislead our state legislators and patriots about calling an Article V Amendment Convention (which will lead to a One World Government!). This group of corporate vultures is hovering around their prey (our country)! They are the manipulators of public and legislative opinion!
The following several pages will go into detail about EACH of the top cold-blooded actors/players. This list may surprise you!
“Conservative”? Really? Some of the charlatan actors/ players revealed:
The Questionable and Unsavory Delivery Boys of the Convention of States
Now, let’s get into some more details about these serpents in suits…
13. Jim DeMint – paid advisor for Convention of the States (COS). Former South CarolinaSenator.
The groups pushing for a Constitutional Convention (Con-Con) are:
Arkansas ALEC Legislators:
Legislators: Vote No on all Resolutions calling for a Convention of States (COS) or a Constitutional Convention
State lawmakers considering such resolutions from the Convention of States (COS) should question the claims being made by the groups promoting the resolutions, such as the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), that states could control the actions or outcomes of a constitutional convention. A convention results would be impossible to predict.
The only constitutional convention in U.S. history is the one in 1787 that produced the current Constitution. This convention went far beyond its mandate. Congress and the states have never dared called another one. Every amendment to the Constitution since 1787 has resulted from the first process: Article V Congress has proposed specific amendments to the states, which have ratified them by the necessary three-quarters majority (or turned them down).
Once a convention is called, it will be too late to stop a new Constitution with an easier mode of ratification from being imposed. Our existing U.S. Constitution and our liberty hang in the balance.
Again, more reasons to say NO to a Con-Con
Reason why we must NOT promote an Article V Amendment Convention:
Key note to remember: A convention is the highest form of government and has more power than state legislatures and Congress put together!
There is no provision in Article V empowering state legislators to choose the delegates to a Constitutional Convention or to “limit” the scope of a Con-Con. There are no rules, no regulations or instructions, and once a Convention is underway, the delegates answer to NOBODY!
Tragically, other states have called for an Article V Amendment Convention. Here is a list of state applications for an Article V Convention. (Scroll down to the chart to view the info about each state.)
This is a list of known applications made to the United States Congress by the states for a national convention to propose amendments to the United States Constitution under Article V of the Constitution.
Arkansas has at least ten (10) applications on file requesting an Article V Amendment Convention.
We, the People, with the help of our state legislators, can OVERRULE what’s been done and save our U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights! The only safe thing to do for everyone in every state is to have their legislators to rescind (revoke, repeal, remove) all calls or requests for a federal Article V Amendment Convention (Con-Con).
HOW?
ACTION ITEM:
It’s just this simple: Send or take this form to your own state senator and state representative and ask them to sponsor it. Their email addresses are at the very bottom of this alert.
Keep the heat on these legislators. Keep contacting them. It’s important that all calls or requests for an Article V Amendment Convention are rescinded (revoked, repealed, removed).

LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ________________
___[(SENATE OR HOUSE]___ CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. _______
BY__________________________________
A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
STATING FINDINGS OF THE LEGISLATURE; RESCINDING, REPEALING, CANCELING, VOIDING AND SUPERSEDING ANY AND ALL EXTANT APPLICATIONS BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF __________ HERETOFORE MADE DURING ANY SESSION THEREOF TO THE CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO CALL A CONVENTION PURSUANT TO THE TERMS OF ARTICLE V OF THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION FOR PROPOSING ONE OR MORE AMENDMENTS TO THAT CONSTITUTION; URGING THE LEGISLATURES OF OTHER STATES TO DO THE SAME; DIRECTING THAT COPIES OF THIS RESOLUTION BE SENT TO SPECIFIED PERSONS.
Be it Resolved by the Legislature of the State of ___________________:
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of __________, acting with the best of intentions, has, at various times, and during various sessions, previously made applications to the Congress of the United States of America to call one or more conventions to propose either one or more amendments regarding one or more specific subjects or purposes, or to call a general convention to propose an unspecified and unlimited number of amendments to the United States Constitution, pursuant to the provisions of Article V thereof; and,
WHEREAS, the Declaration of Independence proclaims that “it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish” their form of government whenever it fails to secure their rights, which implies that a convention of representatives of the sovereign people in an Article V “convention for proposing amendments” would have the inherent power to propose sweeping changes to the Constitution (also known as a “runaway” convention), any limitations or restrictions purportedly imposed by the states in applying for such a convention or conventions to the contrary notwithstanding, thereby creating an imminent peril to the well-established rights of the citizens and the duties of various levels of government as defined by our present Constitution; and,
WHEREAS, the Constitution of the United States of America has been amended many times in the history of this nation and may be amended many more times, without the need to resort to an Article V constitutional convention, and has been interpreted for more than two hundred years and has been found to be a sound document which protects the lives and liberties of the citizens; and,
WHEREAS, there is no need for, rather, there is great danger in, subjecting our form of government, which is based on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, to sweeping changes that would undermine its philosophical foundation of instituting government based on the principle of securing God-given rights; and,
WHEREAS, the best solution for reining in the federal government is an informed electorate which will hold public officials accountable to our existing Constitution with its principles of limited government, rather than risking a runaway Article V convention:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the _______ Session of the __________ Legislature, the Senate [or House of Representatives, i.e. the house where the resolution is first introduced] and the House of Representatives [or Senate, i.e. the second house after passage in the house of origin] concurring, that the Legislature does hereby rescind, repeal, cancel, nullify, and supersede to the same effect as if they had never been passed, any and all extant applications by the Legislature of the State of ____________ to the Congress of the United States of America to call a convention to propose amendments to the Constitution of the United States of America, pursuant to the terms of Article V thereof, regardless of when or by which session or sessions of the ___________ Legislature such applications were made and regardless of whether such applications were for a limited convention to propose one or more amendments regarding one or more specific subjects or purposes or for a general convention to propose an unlimited number of amendments upon an unlimited number of subjects.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Legislature of the State of __________ urges the legislatures of each and every state which has applied to Congress to call a convention for either a general or a limited constitutional convention, to repeal, and withdraw such applications.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Secretary of the Senate be, and is hereby authorized and directed to send copies of this Resolution to the Secretary of State, to the presiding officers of both houses of the legislatures of each state in the Union, to the president of the United States Senate, to the Speaker and Clerk of the United States House of Representatives, to the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee of the United States House of Representatives, and to the members of Congress of the United States representing the State and people of _________.
