Extreme Times Call for Extreme Measures
It’s time to secure Arkansas!
Communist China IS a threat to our national security. They have been infiltrating our homeland while we slumbered and slept.
This alert is a short briefing for everyone, including our governor. We want you to take this seriously and not overlook this issue.
See this report dated February 6, 2023, from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. The report stated, “The National Intelligence Council stands ready to support policymakers with additional information in a classified setting.”
Warning! America had better sit up and pay attention because our foreign adversaries are buying up our farmland and energy supplies and are even targeting land near our strategic military bases at a rapid pace. At some point, we have to stop or ban adversarial foreign citizens, governments, and entities from purchasing our land. Countries like China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia should be considered immediately because this is a security threat!
Our land and our food and energy supplies need to be protected at all costs!
Moreover, any country that poses a risk to the national security of the United States should be stopped from purchasing land here… period! Especially land near our military bases.
Communist China is the United States’ primary geopolitical rival now, and Texas is setting an example that all states should follow legislatively.
From the Dallas Morning News — Ban on Chinese citizens, others owning property in Texas approved in Senate. But now, under an amended version of the bill, the ban wouldn’t apply to dual citizens or lawful permanent residents. See Texas SB147.
Here’s a snippet:
It would prohibit citizens of China, Iran, North Korea and Russia from buying large swaths of land in Texas with some exceptions, using a threat assessment report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence as the basis for the ban.
The bill now heads to the House for consideration. Gov. Greg Abbott has said he would sign the legislation if it reaches his desk.
The proposed law emerged after reports surfaced that a Chinese firm purchased land near Laughlin Air Force Base in Val Verde County. It builds on a law adopted in 2021 that banned companies based in China, Iran, North Korea and Russia from owning critical infrastructure in Texas.
Thankfully, there are now 14 states prohibiting or restricting foreign ownership of private agricultural land:
Where is Arkansas? We are an agricultural state, and our land and resources are highly coveted… especially by other countries.
The Midwest is the breadbasket of the world, and large swaths of land are being bought up at lightning speed. A land grab by foreign entities who are adversaries to America is unacceptable! Arkansas needs to be protected.
Why do so many states want to ban China from owning farmland? See this article:
Here are some vital excerpts:
The spy balloon spotted over Montana wasn’t the first recent incident to spark fears about national security and espionage in the U.S. Only a few years ago, a Chinese billionaire named Sun Guangxin planned to build a wind farm on part of 140,000 acres his company had amassed in southwest Texas, near Laughlin Air Force Base. But after the proposed project sparked national attention, Gov. Greg Abbott signed a law to stop the wind farm from being built.
And just last year, a Chinese company bought 300 acres in North Dakota near the Grand Forks Air Force Base, planning to build a corn milling plant. The Grand Forks City Council voted to stop that project earlier this month. These two incidents, along with others, have focused the attention of state legislators on foreign land ownership, especially large tracts of farmland. Currently, 14 states prohibit or restrict foreign ownership of private agricultural land,1 but that number could grow this term. According to data from the National Agricultural Law Center at the University of Arkansas, nine of those states2 have new bills on the docket aimed at expanding the existing laws to limit or prohibit foreign ownership of agricultural land, a designation that can include cropland, livestock pastures and timberland. And an additional 15 states3 with minimal regulations or none at all are considering new bills on the matter. Many of these bills are designed to prevent foreign governments, companies and, in some cases, nonresident citizens of other countries from owning agricultural land.
Yes, we need to address the wind farms going in here in the Natural State! We want to look at the Nimbus Wind Farm in Carroll County, Arkansas especially. Also, Scout Clean Energy needs to be investigated further, as do all of the players involved in this scheme.
In closing, you might want to read this Communist China report regarding their influence operations for yourself regarding the deadly situation facing America. Infiltration and coercion are used because they want to be feared!
Arkansas Legislators, don’t forget — a Special Session needs to be called to repeal HB1654 and HB1799.
