Emergency Appeal for Funds

February is National Dental Awareness month and the Arkansas Health Department is running radio ads promoting fluoride in drinking water. Instead of talking about oral hygiene, it’s all about water fluoridation, which we find strange due to the fact that Arkansas already has a dangerous state mandate in place.

Arkansas Senator Profits from Legislation

After sponsoring a bill that mandates fluoridation of public water supplies (Senate Bill 359/Act 197 of 2011, Regular Session), Arkansas Senator David Johnson (D) receives $7,500 in campaign donations over two months from dentists:

Misinformed Legislators Pass Unfunded Mandate That Can Jeopardize Animals, Tourism and the Poultry Industry

Most folks in Arkansas cherish our animals, whether it be for food, income, or, best of all, as companions. Secure Arkansas believes that we have a right to know what will affect our health as well as what will affect the health of our pets and our livelihoods. In 2011, Mike Beebe, Governor of Arkansas, signed a bill into law that requires all districts providing water for over 5000 people to add hydrofluosilicic acid to their water supply. The water fluoridation mandate bill was rushed through the House and Senate in less than 7 working days – hardly enough time to hear from all the citizens in Arkansas that actually voted against adding a known toxic substance to our water.

Vital Fluoride Concerns

Once more, the state of Arkansas bucks the trend and falls behind the rest of the country and world. Over the last year, the following communities (with approximate populations) have stopped adding fluoride to their drinking water. That’s approximately 2,538,500 people freed from the toxic substance known as fluoride, in the past year!

WHO IS VAN THOMAS ?

Van Thomas, Director of the White River Planning and Development District, is connected to several other corporations where he is the Registered Agent.
