Legislators, Pull Your Sponsorship and ‘Vote No’ on SB250 Regarding Paper Ballots

Why are the Republican Legislators sabotaging paper ballot access?

Could it be that the sponsors and co-sponsors of SB250 did not read the bill in its entirety? The title of any legislation is meant to deceive the reader. One must read the bill to know what the bill is implementing. Legislators, do not double-cross your constituents.  SB250 is an attempt of the legislators to make sure that the Electronic Voting Machines and tabulators are not replaced with essential PAPER BALLOTS.

It looks like they are doing everything in their power to deliberately sabotage the rights of the voter to have proper access to paper ballots and hand counted tabulation. We desperately need election integrity, but this obstructive bill will limit that. Now, we ask you, is SB250 a conservative piece of legislation?

We have seen that paperless voting machines are susceptible to manipulation because we have no method to verify votes in the case of software or hardware failure. So, we must use paper ballots to provide physical proof of the voter’s intent. Remember, paper ballots can be safely recounted in case of a contested result. If not, this places the election and voters at risk. We must protect our ability to verify our election results! *Legally speaking, only the paper ballots should count.

This deep state legislation is a slap in the face to our county officials! Our Justices of the Peace (JPs) need to oversee and secure our county election integrity. This unwelcome bill appears to be supporting Vote Fraud via ES&S computerized voting machines, those used most in Arkansas, and many of the dirty components do come from China. Also, we believe that the corrupt machines do NOT follow U.S. or state election laws.

SB 250 is now in the Senate with amendments scheduled for Monday, February 27, 2023 at 1:00 .PM. Click here for Senate Business Agenda for February 27, 2023.

Subtitle

TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING PAPER BALLOTS; TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING MARKING AND COUNTING PAPER BALLOTS; TO AMEND THE LAW CONCERNING THE DECLARATION OF ELECTION RESULTS; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

SB250 was filed by the RINO Republican Senator Kim Hammer from Benton, Arkansas. This obstructive bill, if passed, would do the following:

  1. Restrict each county’s right and ability to employ a paper ballot instead of voting machines

  2. Require the use of voting computers for the initial count before the hand counting

  3. Remove state funding for the ballots

  4. Place undue burden on counties by placing a 24-hour limit on counting of ballots

Pay attention to these RINO Republican Sponsors that want to hinder paper ballot access! Just look at this long list of names at the Capitol.

Why would these lawmakers want to betray Arkansas voters? Who are they catering to?

Why the control? Why the limitations placed on the counties? This bad bill shows a coordinated campaign of sabotage, and it will restrict the rights of each county going back to paper ballots.

Shouldn’t we call them out on this harmful legislation? Tell them to pull their sponsorship and get their name off this bad bill.

ACTION! Voters, once again— Act QUICKLY and contact the entire Senate and tell them you oppose SB250!  This bad legislation is an attempt to make sure electronic voting machines and tabulators are not replaced with paper ballots! It restricts the rights of people to access paper ballots and the hand counting of ballots. We do not trust computerized voting machines or electronically tabulated ballots. You can simply call the Senate at 501-682-2902 tomorrow, Monday, February 27, 2023, and leave a message to ‘VOTE NO’ on SB250. The person answering will relay your message.

Here is a PDF listing of ALL Arkansas legislators (representatives and senators), alphabetized by name. You can save it to your computer for future use.

In closing, vote fraud is real, and it is time to go back to paper ballots because we know that the computerized voting machines are corrupted, which brings voter confidence to an all-time low. Remember, when a totalitarian government is in place, it will be hard to remove it. We can’t win elections if bad legislation like this bill gets put into place.

The legislators should allow each quorum court to decide what is best for their county WITHOUT the additional restrictions of SB250! Presently, the quorum court of each county shall choose by resolution a voting system containing voting machines or computerized vote tabulating devices, or both, or voting machines in combination with paper ballots counted by hand for use in all elections in the county. AR Code § 7-5-301 (2022).

As long as we have computerized voting machines installed in our counties, we are forever doomed in the voting booth and won’t be able to vote out a dog catcher. Clean and proper elections aren’t possible while we’re dealing with unverifiable computerized voting machines. So, we MUST step away from the untrustworthy machines.
