Con-Con Bill Pulled

We thank Senator Rapert for pulling SJR1 from the State Agencies Committee today. If you happen to be at the Capitol tomorrow, Jeannie plans to be there, just in case anyone shows up, to receive them. It does appear that the bill will not be up in committee tomorrow.

SJR1 Must Be Killed

SJR1 legislation came from model legislation from American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) is ghostwriting the law for corporate America.

SJR1 The Con-Con Bill

The Senate State Agencies and Governmental Affairs Committee has SJR1 on the Agenda for Monday. We must be at the Capitol on Monday morning, around 10 a.m., ready to stop this disastrous bill. (The fiscal session officially opened February 13 and should close March 9th, unless extended.)
