We are very thankful that we have an HHS secretary who supports our health and is pushing to cease adding toxic fluoride chemicals to water systems across the United States.
At the same time, the CDC & EPA are slow to implement changes needed under the leadership of HHS Sec. Robert Kennedy, especially regarding water fluoridation. It’s time for the CDC to step-up and reverse its prior fluoride recommendations, among other things.
We are calling on the CDC to block all of their grants and funding to any state that will not remove fluoride from their public water supplies.

Some background info:
The CDC is an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
As head of the CDC, the CDC Director is ultimately accountable to the HHS Secretary, who oversees all HHS agencies; but ultimately, the director serves at the pleasure of the President.
So, the CDC Director manages BILLIONS of DOLLARS, the CDC’s operations, and reports to the HHS Secretary who is responsible for the overall performance of the entire department. The total CDC funding for FY 2025 is $9.683 billion. This is an increase of $499.2 million over the FY 2023 enacted level. As one can see, the CDC receives the majority of its funding from U.S. taxpayer dollars allocated through the federal budget, and that’s billions of dollars that have been used wastefully.
Trump nominated Susan Monarez for the permanent position of the CDC Director, and Monarez was serving as acting CDC director since January 23, 2025 but stepped down on March 24, 2025 when nominated for the director position. On May 14, 2025, RFK, Jr. stated that lawyer Matthew Buzzelli is the acting CDC director, for now, but is listed as the Chief of Staff. According to the CDC, Buzzelli is a seasoned legal professional with a distinguished career as a trial attorney assigned to the US Department of Justice’s Criminal Division in Washington, DC. Buzzelli was responsible for leading and overseeing several high-profile investigations on behalf of the US government. However, the CDC website doesn’t state the acting director’s name. Moreover, the Senate has not yet scheduled a confirmation hearing for Monarez’s nomination.
According to POLITICO, Monarez, before serving as the CDC’s acting head, was a leader in the artificial intelligence and health technology space and has served at the White House in the Office of Science and Technology Policy and on the National Security Council.
Kennedy has stated over and over that the CDC should no longer recommend for fluoride to be dumped into our public water systems and publicly expressed his intention to direct the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to CEASE recommending the fluoridation of community drinking water. He has characterized fluoride as a “dangerous neurotoxin” and has associated it with various health issues.
EPA Will Expeditiously Review New Science on Fluoride in Drinking Water
EPA Press Release April 7, 2025
Snippets:
WASHINGTON – Today, at an event in Salt Lake City, Utah, with U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin announced the agency’s decision to expeditiously review new scientific information on potential health risks of fluoride in drinking water.
“Secretary Kennedy has long been at the forefront of this issue. His advocacy was instrumental in our decision to review fluoride exposure risks and we are committed to working alongside him, utilizing sound science as we advance our mission of protecting human health and the environment,” said Administrator Lee Zeldin.
However, we are seeing liberal Democrats who are calling our concerns about fluoridation “conspiracy theories” and still fighting to keep fluoridation in place and water systems, hustling in this dangerous game they are playing that is harming Americans across the country. Oh, how they like to spin the propaganda and outright lies. Many Democrats are doing everything they can to keep a lid on the toxic industrial chemical, fluoride.
Exposing the harmful effects of fluoridated water is sending ripples throughout corporate America but will give Americans greater health if fluoridation is finally discontinued.
One Democrat senator actually stated that removing fluoride from water systems will affect our military readiness. Here’s a laughable excerpt from the Air Force Times quoting Senator Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts:
The potential reversal of the CDC’s recommendations on fluoridated water “will exacerbate these readiness concerns,” Warren wrote.
Decisions about water fluoridation have been made at the state and local levels, provided they comply with EPA regulations. Arkansas legislators dropped the ball this last legislative session regarding water fluoridation due to special interests influencing and controlling the game! When will our legislators shake loose corporate interests?
Let’s step back for a moment and look at more players in the water fluoridation game. This is serious because it’s up to us to do everything in our power to protect our immune systems, and as long as we are consuming toxic fluoride products and drinking fluoridated water, we ARE compromised!
The corrupt CDC needs a complete overhaul and has certainly been involved with promoting fluoridation, so you may want to read the CDC’s state grant application which clearly states up front that money can go to promote water fluoridation.
Note: the old CDC has corrupted the state health departments and oral health organizations in all states and is in need of comprehensive policy reforms! The deep state influence and bureaucrats must be purged and eradicated, especially on issues concerning our health.
Also, the CDC’s suspicious relationships with industry groups have caused a great amount of distrust among Americans. The influence of corporate interests on our public health policies remains in place and requires immediate attention in order to regain proper influence! The CDC has been neglecting Americans and feeding off corporations for far too long.
And let’s not forget about the political interference in scientific decision-making that begs to be dwelt with quickly.
Sadly, our United States health ranking remains low, and our country has the lowest life expectancy and the highest rates of avoidable deaths among other countries that were studied.
All states, including our own Arkansas Health Dept., have got their share of these questionable funds. Check the following out for evidence of the trail at HHS’ Tracking Accountability in Government Grants System (TAGGS) website:
https://taggs.hhs.gov/Detail/AwardDetail?arg_AwardNum=NU58DP007903&arg_ProgOfficeCode=120
Under the column “Assistance listing,” click on State Actions to improve Oral Health.” See the various states that got funds, the amounts per year, etc.
And see that since 2008, they’ve handed out over $55 MILLION ($55,705,948).
Where’s DOGE when they’re needed?
DOGE reports cut of over $179M in federal grants to Arkansas Health, Human Services Depts. Wed, March 26, 2025
Snippets:
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has announced the termination of at least $179 million in federal grants to the Arkansas Departments of Health, Human Services, and Education.
Nationwide, roughly $11 billion-worth of grants earmarked for health departments is being pulled back by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The funds in question were allocated during the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Health and Human Services Department released a statement Wednesday saying that since the pandemic is over, it will quote “no longer waste billions of taxpayer dollars
In closing, to many people, the CDC is seen as a threat; it’s like they have no moral compass, so we need to see more transparency coming from the CDC if they are to win back our public trust because there have been many alarming incidents over the years!
Here are a few of those horrific incidents in case you have forgotten, but there’s more:
1. Tuskegee Syphilis Study (1932–1972)
Perhaps the most egregious ethical violation associated with the CDC is its involvement in the Tuskegee Syphilis Study. Black men with syphilis were deliberately left untreated, even after penicillin became the standard cure. The study wanted to observe the disease’s progression. The CDC inherited and continued this study until it was finally exposed and halted in 1972. This breach of medical ethics has had lasting repercussions on trust in public health institutions, particularly among the African American communities.
2. Lead Contamination in Washington, D.C. (2001–2004)
The CDC faced criticism for under-reporting the number of children with elevated blood lead levels during a lead contamination crisis in Washington, D.C. A congressional investigation found that the CDC used flawed data, leading to “scientifically indefensible” claims in a 2004 report. (It was found to be at least 83 times higher than the accepted safe limit.) The agency failed to publicize later research showing that the harm was more serious than initially suggested.
Fluoride leaches lead from pipes, let alone fluoride chemicals can contain lead and are known to be found in drinking water.
Note: The EPA has a maximum contamination goal of zero.
3. COVID-19 Vaccine Risk Communication
A 2025 Senate report is asserting that the CDC and FDA officials under the Biden administration delayed public warnings about myocarditis and pericarditis risks associated with mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, particularly in young people. Internal discussions reportedly prioritized avoiding public alarm over transparency, leading to delayed label updates and public advisories. Physicians and others in healthcare who raised concerns were threatened, ridiculed, faced censorship, and licensure threats. Even after label updates, public messaging that came from officials continued to downplay the risks to the public.

One of the sections revealed that then-CDC Director Rochelle Walensky received Pfizer data regarding the number of myocarditis cases associated with the vaccine, though the 14-page document is completely redacted except for the cover page.
Dr. Peter McCullough stated, “The lethal part of the virus in the vaccinated, it’s circulating in the blood… It is a KILLER PROTEIN.”

4. A Reevaluation of Fluoride’s Safety
There are recent studies that have prompted a reevaluation of fluoride’s safety. A 2024 Cochrane review found limited recent evidence supporting water fluoridation’s efficacy on permanent teeth, and several Western countries have discontinued this practice altogether. Additionally, studies in reputable journals indicate potential risks of cognitive issues in children from prenatal fluoride exposure at higher concentrations.
The most comprehensive and concerning report on the potential dangers of fluoride ingestion is the 2024 monograph released by the U.S. National Toxicology Program (NTP), part of the Department of Health and Human Services. This 324-page document synthesizes over a decade of research and concludes that drinking water containing more than 1.5 milligrams of fluoride per liter is consistently associated with lower IQs in children.
Excerpt from report:
There is a concern, however, that some pregnant women and children may be getting more fluoride than they need because they now get fluoride from many sources including treated public water, water-added foods and beverages, teas, toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash, and the combined total intake of fluoride may exceed safe amounts.
In September 2024, a federal judge ordered the EPA to further regulate (or remove) fluoride in drinking water, citing research that pointed to an unreasonable risk of reduced IQ in children.
In a major blow to the EPA, a federal judge has ruled that fluoride may pose a risk to children’s IQ. Why is the EPA dragging their feet on this toxic fluoride court ruling? Let’s Make America Healthy Again (MAHA).
A U.S. federal court has now deemed fluoridation an “unreasonable risk” to the health of children, and the EPA will be forced to regulate it as such.
Here is the court ruling on our lawsuit against EPA:

Some excerpts from the above ruling:

V CONCLUSION OF LAW
121. Plaintiffs have proven, by a preponderance of the evidence, that water fluoridation at the level of 0.7 mg/L – the prescribed optimal level of fluoridation in the United States – presents an “unreasonable risk of injury to health or the environment, without consideration of costs or other non-risk factors, including an unreasonable risk to a potentially exposed or susceptible subpopulation under the conditions of use.” 15 U.S.C. § 2620(b)(4)(B)(ii).
122. The Court thus orders the Administrator to initiate rulemaking pursuant to Subsection 6(a) of TSCA. See id. §§ 2605(a), 2620(a).
123. The Court defers ruling as to whether Plaintiffs are entitled to recovery of their costs of suit and attorneys and expert witness fees. Parties are ordered to submit a proposed supplemental briefing schedule regarding costs and fees within two weeks of the date of this order.
Defendant shall respond two weeks thereafter. The Court will take the matter under submission unless it orders a hearing.
The Clerk of Court is directed to enter judgment in Plaintiffs’ favor.
IT IS SO ORDERED.

EDWARD M. CHEN
United States District Judge
———————————————–
Judge Chen wrote in his 80-page ruling Tuesday, September 24, 2024:
“If there is an insufficient margin, then the chemical poses a risk.”
Policymakers at the local and state level do not need to wait to take action. The federal government doesn’t mandate fluoridation, and thus local and state decision-makers can take action immediately. We have a very thorough decision made by the federal courts based on extensive evidence.
Also, the public didn’t sign up to have a chemical added to public drinking water that could adversely affect the brain. Consider this: while a cavity can easily be filled, damage to the brain is permanent, and the consequences are lifelong. There are no second chances when it comes to impaired brain development.
If the State Health Department, State Legislators, or the Governor don’t take action to follow the Federal Court Ruling, it should be up to the local water operators to ban fluoride and remove fluoride from the public water supplies.
We are now seeing all of the lies and propaganda, touting the so-called “benefits” of fluoridation additives in the water for DECADES, being dismantled and crumbling right before our eyes!
